NanoHaus complies with Korea's Personal Information Protection Act and handles personal data as set out below, so that your family's private records stay safe.
1. Personal data we collect
Required: email, password (hashed), name (display name)
Generated through use: family and relationship data, posts, photos and guestbook entries, device and session data, activity logs
2. Purposes of collection and use
Identifying and authenticating members, providing the family space, sharing content and enforcing visibility, preventing abuse and handling reports, operating and improving the Service
3. Retention period
As a rule, data is destroyed without delay when a member leaves (kept for the required period where law obliges retention).
Security records such as audit logs may be retained for a limited period to respond to abuse.
4. Third parties and processors
We do not provide data to third parties except where required by law or with your consent.
We may entrust processing to cloud infrastructure (hosting, database, media storage) in order to run the Service.
5. Personal data of children under 14
Personal data of children under 14 is collected and used with a legal guardian's consent.
A legal guardian may request access to, correction or deletion of a child's data, and may withdraw consent.
6. Rights of users and guardians
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or ask us to stop processing it, either through in-service features or by contacting the operator.
7. Security measures
We apply hashed password storage, encryption in transit, access controls, per-family data isolation, and end-to-end encryption (E2EE) for secret notes.
8. Data protection officer and notices
You can direct privacy enquiries to the operator. Changes to this policy will be announced within the Service.
